Brooke Taylor Graffeo, of Levittown, has been diagnosed with Hypomelanosis of Ito, Polymicrogryia, as well as epilepsy, according to a GoFundMe page set-up to help cover the costs of travel to the hospital and for treatment costs.

The only hospital that can treat Brooke is located in Boston, the page said.

Her parents are both Nassau County Police paramedics and well as volunteer firefighters and EMTs at the Levittown Fire Department.

"We are in need of some help with the expenses this travel is going to cost when housing and traveling is going to be done," said the page organizers. "It is going to add up and I’m asking for your help, even the smallest donation goes a long way and is greatly appreciated."

As of Wednesday, Dec. 4, $9,803 has been raised.
